“Yep, and it smells delicious,” Morgan said, following Nick into
the apartment"s tiny kitchen. “What can I do to help?”
“Actually, it"s all pretty much good to go, I just need to finish the
risotto, and there"s not a lot of room for two people to cook,” Nick
replied.
“Got it, but just one thing first,” Morgan said. He came and stood
behind Nick, enfolding him from behind and kissing his neck. “Hmm,
you smell good. What is that?”
“Tea tree oil. I use it after I shave,” Nick said, kissing him back
over his shoulder, absently stirring.
“You shaved?” Morgan said, eyebrow arched.
Nick blushed. “Maybe.”
“So did I,” Morgan confessed. But I’m not telling you what or
where. He released Nick before he embarrassed himself with his
rapidly growing erection. Something about pressing himself up against
Nick like that made him want more. He retreated from the kitchen to
lean against the wall just outside the zone of action. Besides, watching
the man cook was pretty sexy too.
Back at the stove, Nick was just glad that stirring risotto was a
mindless mechanical task. After an initial moment of surprise at feeling
Morgan behind him, Nick had fought to keep his knees from buckling.
Morgan was just enough taller that they seemed to line up back to front
in all the right ways. Fortunately, the stove hid his reaction. But
cooking with gas? So not the place for a hard-on attack.
A few minutes more, and dinner was ready. Nick set it on the
table, then fetched the salad and fizzy water from the fridge. In short
order, they sat down to a light supper filled with small talk and the
accidental-deliberate bumping of knees under the table, followed by
shy smiles. By the time they were done, each man"s knees rested
against the other"s, the feelings of skin and warmth and contact vying
with the olfactory and gustatory sensations of dinner. It was heady and
intoxicating in the way that it could be only at the start of a
relationship, when everything was new.
